Oregon Life

I now live in Newberg, Oregon. The city of George Fox University, just a few miles out of Portland. Two things immediately strike me. My weekends are now filled with copious amounts of homework, and I am in immediate proximity to the Oregon Coast. My Fridays and Mondays have, as a result, increased in workload, while the last few sunny weekends in Oregon have been spent exploring. I am truly blessed to live here, within reach of such amazing parts of the world like the Gorge and the Coast. I am a lot closer to the Pacific than I was in Idaho, and despite the fact that there are definitely parts of home I miss, I miss my friends, I miss the mountains and lake, and I miss cruising down Sherman amidst shirtless folk and Java brewing. I miss all of these things, memories of life and how blessed I have been, but life in Oregon has been really good so far. Really good. God keeps pouring on blessing after blessing, and I am so thankful. Here are a few shots from the new chapter of life. One is a rainbow over Multnomah Falls, the biggest I think I've ever seen, and two are of Mikaela when she came to visit last weekend. The last one is a foggy landscape of Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach. Welcome to my new home.
